Herds of horses usually only seen out west. Mothers with their foals. Cattle. Deer. Turkeys. Crisp mountain air to regenerate your soul. Caving. Miles of trails for hiking or horseback riding.
Whatever time of year, Apple Horse Farm has plenty to see and do. Spring time is birthing season and the farm is alive with new babies everywhere. Summer is the perfect escape from the heat of almost anywhere else, with temperatures averaging 10-12 degrees cooler than the lowlands. Fall is gorgeous with autumn colors bursting all over the valley. Winter is a magical time with blankets of snow making for a post card setting outside while a romantic wood stove (and electric heat) keep the cottage warm and toasty.
